WEIGHT AND BODY SHAPE ISSUES

Weight and body shape issues are related to eating disorders and hence BLOOD SUGAR regulation is always a major contributing factor. Many diet programs have come and gone while the obesity problem continues to gather momentum. All of the popular diets have very useful aspects and contribute to our understanding. The obvious conclusion is that we all have different metabolisms and no one diet will work for all.

Many factors have to be considered, such as where a person lives, as an extreme example, would an eskimo use the same diet as someone living in central Africa? When a person lives in an area where the weather varies considerably between the seasons, ideally the diet should be altered accordingly. The time of day we eat is also something to consider. Natural body rhythms, some people are best in the morning, and some later in the day. Our digestion is the same, some peoples digestion can be sluggish at certain times. A persons health picture will contribute to what food groups are most suitable, and as our health improves or deteriorates different foods may or may not be tolerated as well.

Metabolism is often an issue with weight problems. High metabolism can be a factor in low weight and the other side of the coin is low metabolism can be a major factor when people are stuggling to lose excess weight. Supporting the endocrine system and especially balancing adrenal and thyroid function is key.

Fluid retention is always involved when people struggle to lose weight. Fluid location is determined largely by the position of the four main electrolytes, Magnesium, Pottasium, Sodium and Calcium. When the cell membrane is compromised the electrolytes will have trouble moving to their correct positions, resulting in fluid misplacement. Therefore you can not maintain your correct body weight when the cell membranes are compromised.

Another issue to consider is toxicity. Many toxic chemicals are fat soluble, and therefore stored in fat. When the body has a high toxic load, excess body fat is required. One of the main objectives of CELL MEMBRANE THERAPY is to safely remove toxicity from the body, therefore reducing this need for excess fat. OXYGEN THERAPY can be an invaluable tool when addressing detoxicification and weight loss.

Addressing SUBCONSCIOUS issues, such as self esteem, with people who are having difficulties losing weight can also be significant for a successful outcome.
