LIFESTYLE
Lifestyle issues are as varied as there are humans. I would just like to briefly draw attention to a few points.
Faulty dietry habits, alcohol, smoking, coffee, food colours, artificial sweeteners, refined sugar, ect. We have some control of what we consume. It is the ultimate double whammy, toxicity entering the body and leaching out essential nutrients to remove the toxicity.
Faulty nutrition will result in degenerative conditions, now for ourselves, and for our children, and their children, it is as simple as that, you can not cheat at this level.
Physical activity and exercise. In a relatively short period of time, we have moved from largely a physical style of work to a much more sedentary style. This has considerable implications for human health on several fronts. As an example, the lymphatic system, which should be viewed as our sewage system, does not have a pump. The lymph mainly relies upon physical movement to push it around the body to its drainage points.
Sunlight. Again until relatively recently we would have worked outside, whereas now most work is performed indoors. Sunlight is essential for many human functions. Especially in the winter months, we should try to be outside in the available light for at least 30 minutes each day. The contemporary issue of blaming the sun for the significant increase in skin cancer misses the point that man would have been in the sun for more than 12 hours each day. When the figures are analyzed, it is the people who have the least exposure to sunlight that present the greatest incidence of skin cancers. Common sense of course says that it is foolish to be exposed to extensive periods of intense sunlight, especially in parts of the world where it is not appropriate for that genetic background.
