IMPAIRED DIGESTION

Incomplete digestion is a major factor in any degenerative condition. Again we have the double effect. One, not being able to break down the food we consume to the end products, which will contribute to deficencies. Two, some of the intermediatery products of digestion are toxic to the body, which contibute to the toxic load the body has to deal with. A classic example, which is often observed in casesof Autism, is when gluten can not be fully broken down. One of the steps when digesting gluten produces a product called gluteomorphine, often this is the stage where the digestive process breaksdown.

Again we are in the vicous circle, the cause of impaired digestion is nutrient deficencies, and impaired digestion further exacerbates the deficiency situation.

The pancreas must have the raw materials to make it's digestive enzymes, the liver requires raw materials to make it's enzymes and bile, the stomach has basic requirements to allow it to make the digestive acids. If he basic ingredients are not available, the end result will be incomplete digestion with the inevitable consequences.
