CHRONIC BACK PAIN / HIP / SCIATIC PROBLEMS

Back problems, my original motivation to begin researching health issues. Let me be clear, I am not addressing injuries that are a result of traumas, such as car accidents, falling out of trees etc. Although the SCENAR and ECT techniques can be very helpful in pain management.

This approach is for people with chronic back, hip and sciatic problems, that have no obvious cause. Most of these problems are a consequence of faulty dietary habits. Therefore therapies such as skeletal manipulation that do not address the cause, can only provide temporary relief, which can be valid given that such problems can be disabling.

There are three main areas to look at.

Muscle spasms. Muscles hold the skeleton in place. When a muscle in the back goes into spasm, often other muscles will contract to compensate, producing the dreaded cross pull chain reaction. Exercise and building muscle tone can of course be helpful, but the real issue is the electrolytes. It is the electrolytes, especially Calcium and Magnesium, that faciltate muscles to contract and relax. One of the main objectives of the program is to correct electrolyte misplacement and deficiencies.

Overloaded kidneys. The body has to remove toxicity every day. The main elimination organ is the Liver. When the liver becomes overloaded and begins to struggle, the kidneys are forced to do extra work. The kidneys are very delicate organs and when stressed produce very unpleasant symptoms including severe muscle spasms. Another of the main objectives of the program is to support the ROUTES OF ELIMINATION, helping to prevent the kidneys from being over challenged.

The bodies has energy channels that are known as meridians. The Urinary Bladder meridian runs down the back and across the small of the back. And the Gall Bladder meridian runs through the hip and down the leg close to the sciatic nerve.

The Kidneys produce urine which is stored in the Urinary Bladder. If the urine produced is over toxic, too acidic for example, the Bladder will not be happy. The Bladder may complain by producing an inflamed meridian, the symptom of which could be back pain.

The Liver detoxifies the blood putting the toxicity into the bile, which is stored in the Gall Bladder. When the bile is over toxic, the Gall Bladder may produce an inflamed meridian, which can result in hip or false sciatic problems.

The root cause is a toxic body with overloaded elimination organs. As the body is constantly producing and removing waste, the toxic levels rise and fall, which helps explain why the symptoms may come and go. Addressing the fundamental problem, a toxic body, is the solution .
